"i'm not doing well over here.
the working conditions are bad and there are little benefits.
but don't worry about me, only 10 people a day are seriously injured, and i'm very careful.
business isn't too good.
although i do not understand english too well, i can roughly understand what the "white people" (foreigners) are saying.
hope that i can make a name for myself! i'll work hard over here and i'll take good care of myself.
are you all doing well?
i miss you guys a lot, and hope that we'll be able to meet up soon."

protip: it isn't japanese. i took 6 years of japanese classes.
the characters you see are called "kanji" in japanese. because chinese and japanese have a common origin, these characters are seen in both languages. japanese, however, does not exclusively use kanji like the chinese do. they have another alphabet called hiragana, which would be seen in this exam in addition to the kanji.
