Iif you look at the rest of the problems on the quiz, you'd notice they're basic algebra, and a problem with velocity isn't brought into a math class regularly, and especially not at chapter 2.4 and 2.5, until Pre-Calculus. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to say this is a fake. Also, you should know that there is not enough information to determine how fast gravity enforces the armadillo's rise and fall, because you need weight as well. If me and a frog jumped up in the air at the same time, same speed, I'd land first. Why? The frog would jump higher because of it's smaller size and weight, so gravity will take longer to stop it. Also, if for some reason we hit the same height, I'd still hit first because weight actually does affect fall time.

yeah it jumps 18 feet per second, but how high?

Why would an armadillo jump, anyway? That makes no sense at all, they roll up into a ball! (Yeah, I know that's not the point.)

Armadillos do jump when startled, but only 3 or 4 feet into the air. Not 18 for whoever said they could on the comments.
