    Lol, like my teacher was trying to explain significance number (1.000 etc) That 1.000 could be either 1.004 or.. then he didn't know the other one. He kept wrong down 1.0something. Then I just walked to to the board and wrote down 0.995 and left.

    In 5th grade the same thing happened, my teacher fought with me for 10 minutes because she thought 5 BC was before 50 BC, and that apperently 1 BC was the beggining of time :/

    You did right. I wish caused an uproar when the sex ed teacher said the morning after pill was an abortion pill. I wanted to lunge at her throat, but i did not have the courage. Thank you

    That is not alowed. He/She can not give a student a punishment for correcting the teacher. Ofc if he started to insult him/her that part about respect and all that would be a fair call, but for correcting the teacher... FAIL!

    wow i had a teacher exactly like this for algebra in ninth grade. she gave me detention because i contradicted her when she said that pi is exactly equal to 22/7. the only difference was that she never admitted that she was right.

    Reminds me of when my teacher tried to argue that "it's" was possessive. I won that argument.

    that is so stupid. if someone thinks they are right they should stand up for it! i remember one of my teachers tried to tell me that "banana" was spelled "banna" and i KNEW that it wasnt spelled like that, but it all ended with her telling me i was wrong and that was that, i still i wish i could go back and tell her that i was IN FACT right.
