People who said Q fell for the trick. Notice the 8 is initially on the bottom of the triangle whereas in Q it isnt. Both sides being 8 would make it isosceles which it cant be with a 30 degree angle hence Q is automatically wrong.

    The answer is R you ignorant ****, its a 30 60 90 triangle with 8 opposite the 30

For everyone on here who failed math, the answer is S...8 is half of 16 making the angles in the triangle 30-60. Which matches the angle and side measurements of triangle P

You guys that say Q is the answer are SO SMART!!! Hey, look, it's a 30-60-90 triangle that's isosceles at the SAME TIME!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

guys guys, don't you know what congruent means? Q is a similar triangle, because the angles are the same but the scale is different. R is correct, because sin30degrees = 8/16

No, the answer is Q All triangles add up to 180 degrees, in Triangle P you can see that it has a right angle which is equal to 90 (indicated by the box at the bottom right) and 30 indicated by the top angle. Thus the 3rd angle must be 60, and angle Q is the only one that meets that requirement.

The teacher named the triangles wrong. You can't name a triangle with one letter.
